Fábrica de Chefs: The Mega Culinary Event Bringing 13 Hours of Gastronomy to São Paulo

With Alex Atala, Manu Buffara and over 17 renowned chefs, the first São Paulo edition transforms Suhai Music Hall into a gastronomic stage

Pico Editorial·April 10, 2026

São Paulo is about to witness a new format of culinary event that promises to revolutionize how we experience gastronomy. On May 25, 2026, Fábrica de Chefs lands in São Paulo with its first edition at Suhai Music Hall, bringing 17 Brazilian and international culinary professionals for 13 hours of programming, featuring cooking shows and live recipes.

What started as a project with 200 people in Espírito Santo has transformed into a true gastronomic phenomenon. Thinking of taking the fine dining scene out of the Rio-São Paulo niche and highlighting Espírito Santo, he created Fábrica de Chefs, explains Hugo Grassi, the event's creator. "Seeing Fábrica de Chefs grow and become a major national gastronomy event is a dream come true", celebrates the chef from Espírito Santo.

An unprecedented gastronomic show

The concept is simple yet revolutionary: transforming the gastronomic experience into a spectacle. Hugo Grassi conceived Fábrica de Chefs to be more than a gastronomic event. His vision is to transform the experience into a true exchange of knowledge and inspiration between renowned chefs and cooking enthusiasts.

At Suhai Music Hall, a multipurpose arena with over 11,000 m² located within Shopping SP Market in the southern part of the capital, the format takes on unprecedented dimensions. The arena easily adapts to different types of setups: standing room, tables and chairs, or auditorium format, prepared to host corporate events like conferences, fairs, and workshops.

A dream lineup

The São Paulo edition assembled an absolute heavyweight cast of national and international gastronomy. Manu Buffara, from Paraná, recognized for her signature cuisine and commitment to sustainability, leads restaurant Manu in Curitiba. Alex Atala, who needs no introduction, brings all his experience from D.O.M., Dalva & Dito, and Resid Bar.

From the international scene, Franco Sampogna joined chef Fabrice Vulin's team at restaurant La Chèvre d'Or in the village of Eze, which holds two Michelin stars. Shortly after, he accepted a position at chef Guy Savoy's namesake restaurant in Paris, holder of three Michelin stars. He also worked at the legendary three-starred Hôtel Plaza Athénée, joining chef Alain Ducasse's team. In 2015, at 24 years old, Sampogna won second place in the San Pellegrino Young Chef Challenge, selected among 10 from a total of 3,621 registered professionals. In May 2019, the chef brought his culinary talent to New York, where he opened restaurant Frevo alongside partner Bernardo Silva.

The event also features Luiz Filipe Souza from Evvai (20th best restaurant in Latin America); bartender Jean Ponce from Guarita; and Jordanian Moeen AbuZaid from Canadian restaurant Arbequina; pastry chef Lulo Fouet; and chef Heaven Delhaye. Plus Cadu Evangelisti from Broca, Julio Perinetto from Bisutti; chefs João Vieira and Valeria Gonçalves; Pedro Frade from Confeitaria Caramelo; Rodolfo Vilar from Projeto A.MAR and more.

Beyond the recipes

What sets Fábrica de Chefs apart from other gastronomic events is its focus on the business aspect of gastronomy. The talks address topics like "Real, correct, and profitable pricing" and "Gastronomic marketing and talent positioning." Hugo Grassi has 19 years dedicated to gastronomy and studied Gastronomy and Gastronomic Business, which explains the approach to the business universe - a significant part of Fábrica de Chefs' purpose.

Throughout the event, it became clear that more than recipes, "Fábrica de Chefs" offered the audience a true immersion into the universe of restaurant management. It discussed the importance of teamwork, respect for regional culture, and attentive innovation. It also emphasized a decisive aspect for success: resilience in the face of difficulties.

The complete experience

The choice of Suhai Music Hall wasn't accidental. "We sought the most modern features from other countries and brought them to Shopping SP Market. It will undoubtedly be a unique space in São Paulo where the experience for shows and events will be elevated to a new level", says Renato Srur, partner of Grupo São Joaquim.

With capacity for over 9,000 people and modern structure, the space was designed to host different types of events, combining comfort, accessibility, technology, and the convenience of being integrated with a complete center of shopping, dining, leisure, services, and urban mobility. With three decades of history, Shopping SP Market has established itself as one of the main shopping centers in southern São Paulo and a nationally recognized entertainment hub. With an average flow of 800,000 visitors per month, the development offers a complete mix of leisure, dining, and convenience.

Why go?

Fábrica de Chefs represents a new category of gastronomic entertainment in Brazil. Here, you don't just watch — you learn, connect, and experience gastronomy in a completely new way. It's a unique opportunity to be close to the biggest names in national and international cuisine, absorbing knowledge that goes far beyond culinary techniques.

Tickets range from R$ 150 (Box seats) to R$ 1,400 (VIP Floor), and are already available through Ticketmaster. From 9am to 10pm, it will be a gastronomic marathon that promises to make history.
