Brooklin Taste: The Neighborhood's First Street Food Festival Arrives in April

Pico Editorial·April 4, 2026

Praça Lions Monções is set to become the gastronomic epicenter on April 11th and 12th. That's where Brooklin will host the first edition of Brooklin Taste, a festival that combines quality food, community, and outdoor experiences.

After years of watching the neighborhood shine with Brooklin Fest and its German tradition, it's now time for contemporary gastronomy to take to the streets. Entry is free, suitable for all ages and pet-friendly — a rare democratization in São Paulo's circuit, where most food festivals charge admission.

What to expect

Located at Praça Lions Monções, the event runs Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. The fair format facilitates interaction, allowing each stand to present its specialty without long lines.

The curation avoids the obvious. Brooklin Taste brings together brands that prioritize gastronomic diversity and welcoming service, where visitors can try varied dishes, discover new flavors, and chat directly with producers and chefs.

Beyond cuisine, the festival includes complementary programming focused on wellness and community, such as artisanal drinks and artisanal products. But there's no fluff here: there are no musical shows or parallel activities that distract from the main theme: food.

Why Brooklin?

This debut isn't coincidental. In Brooklin, there are restaurants of the most varied specialties — it's possible to travel through flavors from different countries without leaving the neighborhood. Since the neighborhood has strong German heritage influence, there are several typical restaurants, but it also houses high-level Turkish, Armenian, and Italian cuisines.

The festival emerges as a space for connection between people, brands, and stories, reinforcing Brooklin's vocation for street events. After the consolidated success of Brooklin Fest in October, the neighborhood proves it has the energy — and audience — to sustain its own cultural calendar.

The accessibility bet

The plaza environment was designed with attention to detail. The outdoor setting is another highlight of the programming — amid the plaza's greenery and the neighborhood's welcoming atmosphere, Brooklin Taste invites the public to take a break from urban routine.

With easy access by public transport and nearby bike lanes, organizers expect to attract both neighborhood residents and visitors from other regions of São Paulo. Brooklin metro station is just meters away, eliminating excuses not to show up.

Why go

Brooklin Taste represents something rare in São Paulo: a truly democratic food festival. No cover charge, no entry fee, just you, the food, and the desire to discover new flavors in one of the city's fastest-growing gastronomic regions.

It's an opportunity to meet local producers, taste without rush, and enjoy an outdoor weekend in the heart of a neighborhood that never stops surprising. The proposal is simple: create a space where gastronomy, community, and wellness walk together, designed to welcome friends, families, and even pets.
