SP Gastronomia 2026: Holy Burger, A Casa do Porco and 20+ Restaurants at Villa-Lobos Park Starting August 21
São Paulo's biggest food festival returns with world-class debuts, live music, and tickets starting at R$77
For two back-to-back weekends, the Ilha Musical stage of Parque Villa-Lobos is turning into São Paulo's biggest dining table. SP Gastronomia 2026 runs August 21–23 and 28–30, bringing together more than 20 of the city's most talked-about restaurants — from longtime favorites to first-timers that are already generating serious buzz.
The festival is produced by Globo, CBN, and Valor Econômico. Tickets start at R$77 (full price) and R$38.50 (half-price) in the first batch, covering entry, masterclasses, and select activations. Food and drinks are purchased separately at each stall.
The headline debut: the world's 2nd best burger comes to the park
If one name defines the ambition of this year's edition, it's Holy Burger. The Vila Buarque burger joint, founded in 2013, was crowned the 2nd best hamburger restaurant in the world by the 2026 Burgerdudes ranking — the Swedish guide that evaluated over 1,000 establishments across 62 countries, widely regarded as the Michelin Guide of burgers. The title also makes it the best burger spot in the Americas, ahead of restaurants in the US and Argentina.
The sandwich behind the award is the Pony Line: 45-day dry-aged beef, cheddar, and bacon molasses — a combination that climbed the rankings steadily (4th in 2024, 3rd in 2025) before landing the runner-up spot worldwide. At the festival, expect one of the house's signature creations, served alongside truffle fries.
The returning favorites (and for good reason)
Veterans of last year's SP Gastronomia will recognize some familiar faces: A Casa do Porco and Mocotó are back, anchoring the lineup alongside Make Hommus Not War, QT Pizza Bar, and the Grand Hyatt São Paulo. These are the kinds of restaurants people plan weekend trips around — having them all in the same park is the point.
Debuts worth noting
Beyond Holy Burger, this year's first-timers are genuinely exciting:
- Camélia Òdòdó: the Vila Madalena restaurant known for its Afro-Brazilian organic cuisine makes its festival debut.
- Moela/Sururu: a collaboration between two kitchens that turn humble ingredients into something worth seeking out.
- Elea Forneria: the Água Fria bakery building a loyal following for its bread and dough-based dishes.
- Muli: a seafood-forward restaurant bringing its viral Tuna Fries to the festival — crispy fries, sour cream, and fresh tuna cubes that blew up on social media.
- Luiza Lafer Confeitaria: for dessert, think slice cakes and a cookie spiked with Korean chili.
- Tre Bimbi, Mirá Padaria Autoral, Sushi Vaz, and O Mirandês round out the newcomers.
Artisan producers, masterclasses, and a solid music lineup
Between bites, the festival hosts artisan producers — cheeses, cured meats, olive oils, and handmade sweets from family farms — plus a full schedule of chef talks, cooking classes, and industry panels.
On the main stage: Péricles opens the festival on August 21, Ferrugem plays August 23, and Silva closes things out on August 30. Also on the bill: Bento and Flor Gil (Aug 22), Gabriel O Pensador (Aug 28), and Mãeana (Aug 29). For families, the Beatles for Kids show is confirmed for August 23 — and children up to 10 get in free.
Hours: Friday Aug 21, 6pm–11pm; Friday Aug 28, 5pm–11pm; Saturdays 12pm–11pm; Sundays 12pm–10pm.
Location: Parque Villa-Lobos — Ilha Musical, Av. Professor Fonseca Rodrigues, 2001, Alto de Pinheiros, São Paulo.
Why go: SP Gastronomia 2026 is one of those rare chances to eat your way through São Paulo's best restaurants without the planning, the reservations, and the crosstown commute. The world's 2nd best burger, Mocotó's northeastern cooking, and Camélia Òdòdó's Afro-Brazilian flavors — all in one park, with live music at sunset. Hard to argue with that.
